Retro Revival, PaintBBS NEO

A few days ago I was hunting down an old Tegaki E drawing (which has been found), it made me wonder if there are any of those oekaki bbs sites still around. I looked around for some bara-centric ones but didn't find any.

But I came across a port called PaintBBS NEO on Github! So I downloaded the offline version and drew a quick naughty pic.

It was a lot of fun drawing on the applet. I hope someone creates a bara PaintBBS site again one day. Untill then this offline version would have to suffice. XD

Lost & Found: Missing Zulf Pic

I was cleaning up Humplex.com yesterday. Nothing major, just uploading images and editing some code. I noticed one of the old posts had a broken image link.

It was a post about the old Tegaki E site. I remember drawing there, a pic of Zulf lifting up his blue shirt. It's one of my favorite drawings of him.

For hours, I tried to find the file in my backups, but I couldn't find it anywhere! I thought it was lost forever. So I decided to ask the good people of the internet if anyone had a copy of it saved.

I even drew a rough sketch from memory to show how the original drawing looked like (I used jspaint.app lol)



Luckily, someone replied back with the actual, original drawing! ^O^ I was so happy!

Humplex 19th Anniversary & A New Flash Prototype!

Hi everyone! :D It's been a while, and I'm hoping to get back to it this year.

May 7th was Humplex's 19th anniversary! I wanted to make something special to celebrate. So I tinkered with Flash to see if I can make stuff work on mobile since Ruffle makes that possible.

I stuck with AS2 (my comfort zone, lol) and tried how to do a 'rub' gesture gameplay mechanic for… y'know, reasons. XD

It's just a test for now, but I hope to use this for some future projects. Try it out on your phones/tablets and let me know how it runs! :D
