Pride Month 2026 Art Challenge: Comic Crafting Day 1

Day 1 of my Comic Crafting project! Hehe, the gist of the story is done. I mean, it's not going to win any awards or anything lol XD

The premise: Zulf sends Arus to find a plant, and complicated tendril stuff happens.

Here's an early concept sketch of the plant that's going to be in the comic. I call it the Milknub plant. It has a five-petal flower and tendrils too. The plant’s pinkish fruit has a small nub at the tip that secretes nectar. Yes, fruity nipples lol ;)

"Harmless as it is, encountering a Milknub is a curious delight. Its bloom smells divine, but don't get too close. It’ll press its palm-sized fruit-nub to your lips. The tip secretes a sweet nectar that leaves you dazed while its tendrils 'milk' what it needs from you. Once done, the fruit swells, eventually detaching as a delicious gift."
