Day 7! The finish line! Aahh! I'm rushing to finish this lol XD But here it is,
page 4! IT'S DONE!!!
Finally get to draw Toraz in the background lol XD Also this is probably the
first time I drew the backs of Zulf's and Toraz's outfits. Well, I didn't
really drew Toraz's clothes lol!
Look how craptastic it is XD But yay, I finished the comic even though it's
suuuuper rough!
I hope you all like the mini story hehe :D
Day 6 already! And here's the page 3 rough storyboard. I was hoping to do page 4
too but that's just wishful thinking lol :P
For panel inspiration, I look at One Piece (Oda Eiichiro), Witch Hat Atelier
(Shirahama Kamome) and Eyeshield 21 (Yusuke Murata)! :D
There are some things that I didn't know how to show. Like the plant
soaking up the semen through its skin. I just hope that panel works XD
Gosh, already Day 5! Here's another rough storyboard, it's for page 2. I was
hoping I'd finish pages 3 and 4 too, but alas, I only managed this one measly
page lol :P
I am wondering how others can churn out nice looking comic pages so fast! XD I
guess having assistants would help a lot haha!
It's Day 4 already! Argh, I am so slow! XD I'm now in Krita doing the
thumbnails. Or at least trying to lol. I got my template page done with the
guides for margins and stuff.
I still don't really know what to draw. I've fleshed out the story more, but I'm
drawing a blank as to how to composition the panels and stuff. Man, making
comics is hard lol :P
I'm winging everything. I saw Hiro Mashima's (Fairy Tail) YouTube vid,
How to Plan and Draw the Manga Storyboard.
I'm hoping this'll help me lol XD
Hopefully I'll be able to add a rough draft image here later. :P
And here's the rough storyboard for page 1. Crappy, but hey it's a start lol XD
Day 3! Finalizing the dialogue... or at least that's what I'm supposed to be doing lol XD Most of my time was spent trying to figure out shortcuts in Krita.
At the moment, I can do sketches in it. Hopefully when I go to making the panels, I'll be faster. The comic is going to be super rough lol :P I still have to figure out how to use the comic tools.

SETTING: Zulf's Juice Bar.
ZULF: Hey, Arus. I got word of a Milknub plant in the southern jungle. Go bring me its fruit. Just give it a sweet offering when you approach, and you'll be fine.
ARUS (BEAMING): Sure thing, boss! Hmm, a sweet offering? I am so on it!

Comic Crafting Day 2!
Today is all about prepping stuff. Figure out which apps to use, choosing the
comic page measurements, character outfit designs... because since I always draw
Arus naked, he doesn't actually have an outfit! XD
After researching, I'm settling on
Krita. I've only tinkered with
it before, but now it has some built-in comic tools that look nice. I'm messing
around with it as I'm writing this lol :P
I've also been viewing/reading through some comic making resources. I did
Sauna Slumber
ages ago, and I feel like I need to brush up on a LOT of things. Even a short
comic needs a serviceable story!
